Visited Nerd Base today with my daughter for the first time and it’s amazing. Lots of retro stuff and collectibles from early Star Wars for me to right up to date anime for her. Guys running it was great, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome. The older toys for sale are a trip down memory lane for generation X Also lots of new toys and pokémon for the younger kids and teens. They also hold pokémon trade and play meets. Lovely, knowledgeable and helpful staff are there to answer any questions too. Highly recommend this treasure trove. The Battlesbridge store has more of the old classic toys its that's what you're after

Visited Nerd Base today for the first time and it was a great experience. A great selection of toys across a wide range different lines, some things that you just don’t usually see on the shelves in the UK. Staff were really friendly and has a really nice vibe with people playing games in the back. One slight disappointment was that I felt that the vintage section needs a bit of love and attention. Not much in the way of clean, complete figures (mostly beater stuff), understand these can be the first things to fly off the shelves. But one example, there was a Masters of the Universe Megator just lying down in the cabinet with no price visible. Easily £700-£1000 figure, but was confused why there was no attention given to it. Also a lot of stuff isn’t priced, even a lot of the modern pieces are missing a price ticket. All in all great place to visit.

Great shop, takes me back to being a kid again. Plus, if I had kept all my toys they would have been worth a few quid. Can't wait to go back.

Some of the used prices a bit ouchy, but what an amazing experience. The new stuff is very competitive on pricing so I spent a fortune as has lots of he man, transformers & turtles. Brilliant place I could have spent hours in exploring fully.

As a retro nostalgia Essex lad collector (Now living in 🇺🇸) visiting on holiday this store is a gem. Wonderful staff, great figure product line, everything from Pops to Super7 and 90s must haves. A respectable retro game selection as well, and they were extremely accommodating with my purchases and even helped me find a holy grail on my list. Battlesbridge has an absolute gem here 🍻🩵💛🎮

Ordered two figures that arrived very nicely packaged and in perfect condition. Shipping was a bit slow with the order taking 7 days to arrive, also paid extra for first class but was sent 2nd class.
